Title: Steering Wheel controls????
Post by: oldtomo on 04 August 2009, 08:23
Mornin' all,

I have a Kenwood DNX7240 and one of these:

Now can someone either confirm or deny that depending on which headunit you have you use either the gold connector OR the brown wire?

Has anyone installed one of these or can anyone point me in the right direction as i am really struggling to find out what to do!

Cheers,

the 7240 will have the blue/yellow on it that is the steering control connection so you use the single lead patch wire with the stalk adapter

When you say "use the single lead patch wire" i assume you mean the brown wire on the adapter shown in the link?
