yep me starting anouther thread asking anouther question :embarassed: well you gota learn some wear ent ya lol and wear best to do it.
i was thinking of getting rear door handels and putting them on the front doors of my golf as a subtle touch to the car to give it that
D-locked look is this easy to do? some of you may think it is silly but its the small details like this that make a car i think, just hoping it will be a nice easy job also what can be done to the rear boot lock to give it a cleaner look?

Yep you can fit rear door handles to the front doors, as long as you have remote locking. If you open the door, you'll see down the side of it that they're just held in with 1 star headed screw, so easy enough to swap over. I've fitted a delocked passenger door handle to mine, but left the lock on the drivers door incase the battery goes flat lol.
As for the rear boot lock, on my 1.4 SE I took the lock barrel out and smoothed the hole where the lock goes, then painted it to match the car. Was a really nice touch...... until the drivers door lock gave up. With my current Golf I've just colour coded the push button and sprayed the actual lock barrel black...

^^As above, easy to do.

Halfords silicone spray ftw.
Needed to get in the boot of my Highline yesterday and the lock had seized, dad sprayed some of the above stuff into the barrel and it unseized immediately!
