Title: misfiring problem
Post by: steble on 03 August 2009, 20:40
we appear to have a bit of a misfiring problem with the gti cabrio

i've changed the dizzy cap, rotor arm, leads, and plugs

it does it on acceleration but not all the time

i was thinking maybe coil, or dirty injectors (run some redex through it)

check all your vacuume hoses, if the advance has come off the dizzy/inlet manifold, that'll do it...
