Title: Identify the sensors!!!!!!!

hello chaps....

96 8v gti

hate my car atm!!! cutting out when hot usual problem but dont want to take to garage, had a poke around this morning found two sensor / connectors with a broken wire just dangling cant see where it goes and dont know what they are?

dont know how to add images?

one is on the throttle body wire seems to have come from where the wires to the injectors come from, it has a blue ring round it and brown wire coming from it, and one is in front of the rad fan with ablue wire coming out????

can anyone have a look n see what they think?
