Just got my cat back PowerFlow system, I' was supposed to be gettin it fitted today but the guy let me down.. grr... next week he said... Toooo long to wait.. anyway, Are they easy to fit? I'm worried my exhaust will not remove easily. and i'm stuck with a dilema.
Shud i wait and get me mate to do it (with access to any toooooools)
Or
Take it to garage and get them to fit it? (how much do you guys think it would cost me)
Or
Fit it myself :rolleyes:

easy job of undoing a few rusted in exhaust clamp bolts (they will break off so get new clamps) then removing the old exhaust by wriggling it out out of the joints.
Fitting is reversal of removing. Remember to renew any old exhaust rubber hangers that may break with the new exhaust weight and remember to buy new clamps before you start the job so you have them ready for fitting when you're working under the car.

As long as you have a big hammer you will be fine to get it off. My rear sections were rusty as anything and came off with a few bashes with a copper mallet.
Oh also have alot of exhaust putty at hand, and have two people to alligh the tail pipe.

when we done bro-in-laws vr, we ended up having to cut it with an angle grinder cos the f**k*r would not split, apart from that it is pretty straight forward.

Fitted mine yesterday afternoon and went on without any hassle.
I was cheating by using my brothers lift at his garage but other than that it was simple task.
As Khare says, get new clamps cos 2 of mine sheared when I tried to get them off.

Fitting on a ramp is easier.
