Title: Repairing scratched plastic?

Argh i've only gone and reversed into a piece of concrete. This has left a big-ish scratch about 10cm wide on the plastic big bit below the bumper.

Ive heard wd-40 helps. Has anyone got any experience?

as a rule if you can feel an edge with a finger nail when run across scratch it needs painting
