Title: Botton on gear stick?
Post by: tweed on 30 July 2009, 12:16
Last night being bored with a mate I Found a botton on my gear stick. I think it has something to do with the alarm. But what does it do and how does it work?

Thanks

dam can't do pics. can take a pic on my phone though lol. it's on the stick itself. have to take the knob off and gaiter. It's a tiny black botton on a chip bored, that is cable tied to the stick.

I had a 1996 and never had one, the fact that is cable tied tells you that it is aftermarket.

hmmm When the keys are in the ignition and I press it, the yellow light stays on for about 4 secounds then flashes again. When the immobilizer is off it doesn't do anything. Strange one this.
