Title: Wanna sell your original MK4 golf speakers?

As it states in the thread name, anyone got any old mk4 speakers for sale or just wanna give them away to create space  :grin:

Let me know as 3 out of 4 speakers in my car are not working, just the tweaters on each side working, and only one doors speaker in the rear but that don't sound right either :(

Also is there a guide somewhere on how to remove the mk4 golf's door cards so I can change the speakers?
Any hints and tips would be greatly appreciated.

if they're blown now is the ideal time to upgrade :afro:

IMO no point replacing with the standard stuff as they can't handle much power

I totally agree with you mate, but, a big BUT is finances will not allow me to upgrade at the minute and listening to music with just one speaker is very annoying :(
Expecially as my Mazda i sold had a complete infinity set-up and was crystal clear. (Yes the sound system went with the car :( ) wish I never now.

So basically I want to do this as an interim set-up until I get some funds.

Funds low due to spending 4300 on the car, then timing belt service rear disks and pads, front part of exhaust and cat :( cost me a bomb £675 :(:(:(

So no upgrades for a while now :(
