I have mine with and like them. They look more complete.

lol

to be honest its the difference between getting pulled and not.
if you dont mind and can blag it, get without. if you cant be bothered with the hassle get with
-
UK Metal pressed plates are 100% legal, there is no need to blag anything and the police can't do a thing to you for having them.
Avengedslayer, your car is DG like mine, so the blue side wouldn't look right, however on a blue car, or even a white car, it would look okay, but without FTW with DG :)

Not sure why you say that, as long as they are uk type face you should be ok, german type face will get you pulled or fined 100% however.
-
Well dubmeister website says they are 100% legal, so far as Im concerned I shouldnt have any problems!, Do you get any certification tho with the plates to say they have been done to uk spec?
-
There will be a stamp on the plate.
Can anyone find a link or know where it says somewhere either from the DVLA or the Police that states these plates are legal? Guy at work says they are illegal because they dont have a reflective surface and I cant find anything to shut him up.
-
Bet the Guy at your work is Jealous! You have a nice motor there
-
All legal numberplates in the uk have to have a "BS" number on the front.

Tell him to take a photo of your car with a camera that has a flash, watch it reflect lol!

I've seen a few VW's about with a DG sticker with a little star between D and G, haven't got a clue what it stands for??
-
Might have said DC, as in DC shoes?
-
That's what the wife said it was a logo for, don't understand the revelance? Seen the sticker on 3 VW's now?? :undecided:

for a pressed plate to be "100% legal" they need to have a dealer and a post code at the bottom, a GB flag on it, the correct spacing, the correct font and reflectiveness. as far as im aware dubmister are the only people who do properly legal pressed plates.
sorry mate but now all pressed plates with some letters and numbers are 100% legal. doesnt mean the fuzz will mind though. ive got theoretical illegal pressed plates because they dont have the post code at the bottom but in the 9 months ive been running them i havnt been pulled.

a GB flag on it
Not true, you don't HAVE to have it on, you can simply put a GB sticker on your car when / if you go abroad.
