Title: max weight?

I have a 5dr, MK3. Does anyone know the max weight for it?
I have just seen on tv that the police are looking out for people with overloaded cars..you get 3 points, £3000 fine and your insurance is invalid!! :angry: :angry: They just cant miss an opportunity to make some poor f**kkas life a misery and make some cash can they!? :angry: :angry:

We love going to the VW meets so Ive just got a huge tent, loads of camping gear, roof bars and am now looking for a box. We have heaps of stuff to take cos there are five of us ( me, the ol man and 3 grown up kids) so I was well peeved to see that on tv this morning.

Unless you put gold or lead in the roofbox you wont exceed the GVW.
