Title: hi just bought my first gti 16v mark 3 today need some advice

hi yes broke my virginity :evil: today got my first golf gti loving though a little bit of advice i want upgrade the alloys to 16" or 17" are there any limitations to the size that can be put on did here 17 can rub on rear wheel arches ??????? any one know. any recomandations on upgradeing brakes and suspension there so much out there bit confused   :huh:undecided:anything that fits and works well from past experiences??????  all advice gratefully recieved

17 do rub, as long as you don't lower it too much all you need to do is trim a lil bit off the plastic arch.

17's are fine as long as you fit the correct tyre = 215/40
any bigger and it will rub.
