hi i drive a 1996 golf gti 16v mk3 just wondering if i fit a decat pipe will it pass mot? thank gary

No, 1992 and under i beleave will pass anthing above that year need a cat

thing is i live in northern ireland and i dont think they do tests on the cat?

just check with your dvla just in case and if its the case i'll bring mine over so i can remove mine lol

No, if supplied with a cat new or reg. after 1992 if needs a cat or sports cat to pass the mot.

That don't matter still test under the same emissions regulations.
