Post by: Emeye on 27 July 2009, 14:58
Added this pic to my signature and had a couple of nice comments so thought I'd show it in full here.

Was took by my mate Paulo - a very talented amateur photographer.
Check out some more of his other great work here: http://www.caravela.deviantart.com/gallery/#_browse

He did some work in Photoshop - but you need a good pic as a starting point!

I've just had a txt off my mate who took the pic and he's told me he has sold all his Photography equipment!!!!

Unbelievable eh?

looks like a High Dynamic Range (HDR) photo. That technique can produce some amazing results.

 It isn't a HDR photo, but you're not the first person to think that - it was a very windy day up in them there hills and my mate couldn't get his tripod steady enough to take the required pics. He did do a lot of processing and tidying up in photoshop though! He's very good at the post production but like any great image you need to have the talent to take a good photo to start with!

Here is a photo I took of him taking the photo! As you can see we had a great location and an exciting sky! I take credit for picking the location! :)
