Title: please help my mk3 cutting out<<

hi all well on way 2 work this mornin stopped at lights waiting & the car cut out , managed 2 get pushed the side of the road :embarassed: & it just wouldnt start then after bout 10 mins it started managed 2 get it home but all the way it kept loseing power then coming back. on way work i put a tenner in it(no not deisel) drove about amile & its nearly in the red. if anyones can help me with this promblem id be very greatful thanks daz

i have heard a few on here with similar prob's someone said the ignition could be at fault and also check relays ,  also if you know someone with vagcom that will save you time trying to find the fault good luck.

 :wink: nice 1 chaps the link is a great help gonna go & check the relays & coil & check n clean the throttle body again while its not raining, il let u know how i get on, thanks again

just ad amate come round with a vagcom its sayin no code so gonna try replacing the ecu relay & the fuel pump relay 2moz :undecided:

mine said that , i ended up replacing TB, the wires to the TB sensor and it still played up then took it for a run then checked the relays my ecu relay was hot but my fuil relay was cold so i replaced it and it ran like a dream after that with alot more power and alot sharper of the mark!
