Morning guys,i need abit of urgent help!! after a heavy nite of rain lastnite the rear drivers side footwell in my mk3 gti 8v is litterally swimming in water!
the car has never had this problem before and has sat outside in many down pours! now comes the weird bit,ive stripped the inside of the car out on that side and there is no sign of any leaks,the carpet under the seat is dry,the door cards are dry the side of the carpet is dry the centre console carpet is dry the boots dry,everything else is dry!! i just dont get it,must be coming from somewhere but theres no sign of a leak anywhere,ive checked the heater matrix and all is fine there has anyone had this problem or got any ideas, :sad:

Thank you so much guys it was the sunroof drain I can't believe the amour of crap I just got out of it then loads of water came out,thanks for the link and for the info,I'm very happy!

So had the car outside this afternoon and its absolutly wanged it down,checked the sunroof drainage nipples which are now doin what they are meant to do
(clearing them out was DISGUSTING! :sick: smelt like a public toilet thats not been cleaned for 16 years :sick: loads and loads of musty dirt!
gonna leave the car out tnite as im thinking its gonna rain again and ill let you know tmmorow,might just be worth you guys checking ya drainage nipples aswell coz trust me the amout of water in my car this morning was ridiculous :shocked:
