Title: Cleaning the roof lining?
Post by: spetzdude on 26 July 2009, 18:49
Hey all,

as i havent cleaned my car in 3 weeks now!

i thought today would be the day, anyway got it all done, but i also noticed my rrof lining on my mk4 had a couple off black marks.
so out came the turtle wax interior and cleaned it.

but now it has got rid of the black marks but left quite an unpleasent water patch (well, thats what it looks like)
tried wiping it with a cloth but it didnt work, and now it looks like im left with it!

just woundering if anyone has any tricks to get rid off it? and what to use for future cleaning

cheers..

You may laugh but I have always found baby wipes to be really good on soft trim.

I cleaned the roof lining in my Mk4, with a bowl of warm water and some (clothes) washing powder. Just use a clean cloth and wring the water out, but not all of it.
