Title: RCD 510 SECURITY CODE

I have the 510 fitted in my car,i don`t have a card with the security code on it, in the vw info it says that it can be accessed via vw on the internet,anyway my question is should i have a code on a card or do they just expect you to contact them if you ever need it ?

My car didn't come with a code for the 310.  I bought a 510 from a guy on ebay and he sent it with the code that he said cost him £15 from VW.

Surely VW cannot be charging £15 for the code that we should already have.

i think they give you the code if you need it aslong as you can prove ownership,i was just suprised there was no code on a card
