Title: Biggest tyres for 6J

Alrite just wondering what sort of tyres people have put on some 6J rims 14inch , im looking at getting some real wide ones maybe 205's but have them in a lower profile maybe 50 or 40's , anyone got any ides or bad problems with fitting big wide tyres ? any tips or something i shoul dno incase the handling goes or just anything to avoid .

185s would be the widest i would have thought

I had 6x15's with 195/50/15's on my mk3 all ok with no issues.

I ran 195/45s on a 15" at 6.5J and it was cool, it did look quite wide, if not too wide on the 6.5J! why dont you do a 165/50 on a 14" if they do them? Get some poke!

205 is by far too wide
