Title: 8V AND 16V ISV

Does anyone know the difference between the 8v and 16v isv,im asking because when mine packed up a while ago on my 16v,i couldnt find one for a 16v so i replaced it with the isv off an 8v,the car seems to run fine,tick over fine and i have no problem at all,further investigation showed that a new 16v isv is quite abit more xpensive then the 8v unit and i just wondered why as they seem xactly the same?

Im not sure about what is diffrent between the 8v and the 16v isv but when i asked about it on hear i was told that i could not use one from an 8v on my 16v? :undecided:

well how weird i know mine is from an 8v coz i git it from a scrappy and took it off myself. :huh:
