Title: what mods to make my car 240 bhp? 1.8t aum mk4

i got my car remapped 3 months ago, it is 193 bhp. thats all i have done to the performace. any ideas on how to make it better?

only 193bhp?? who did the remap?

few lads on here have seen approx 210bhp from a remap.   Then added a turbo back exhaust

bigger bore turbo back zaust, forge (or similar) turbo intake pipe. you could decat it if you reckon you can get away with it.

ohh and get a better remap!

star performance remap in scotland. i was thinking about upgrading the turbo but im not re what one to go for :undecided:. i heard different injectors are good. does front mounted intercooler make a difference?

i have just fitted front mount to mine and made some difference but i also need the turbo upgrade i have been reliably informed that the ko3s is a good turbo upgrade obviously depending on what turbo your car has on it already.

the AUM has a k03s as standard. no need to change the turbo. you will struggle to get to 240bhp using it, but 230bhp is possible and good enough.

yeah, forgot to add fmic.

not sure too much about this side of things, but upgrading to a 4bar fpr and getting it mapped in?? not too sure how much of a difference this would make... wouldnt have thought bigger injectors were necessary when using a k03s....

my aum is 240+ bhp  using qpenq management that is.  oh and it in a mk2
