Title: Leaking Climate Contril ?? - 1.8T AUM
Post by: ad1966 on 22 July 2009, 20:17

 Hi -any wisdom appreciated on the following;

 Having parked the car on the drive tonight to check the oil (and then moved it) I noticed a fresh damp patch on the drive - semed to be water.

 Having lifted the bonnet I could see there is a metal plate that (right hand side of engine bay at the back) that sits on top of the steering rack (might be bolted to it?). Either way there was water on /around the bolt thatgoes through this plate that appeared to be coming from the back of the dash board area.

 Anyone any thoughts as to the possible cause/source??

Many thanks

Andy

Think it normal to be honest. Mine leaves a puddle of water from the Climate. It the water dripping from the condensor as it warms up after switch off I think.
