Mpg is very very low, even when changing gear under 2000 revs, only getting around 22-24mpg. About 28 on a longish run. Temp sensor seems fine.
Another thing, when my car is idle, the revs are either quite low, or quite high, havent a clue what it is.
Any ideas?
Car is a 1.8t btw!
Thanks in advance.

Aye, just get a cheap scanner off eBay. Scan the ECU for codes then get your wallet out if anything related to the MAF comes up. Code 16486 is a classic there!
I was in VW t'other day and a new MAF was £80 ish, including a trade in on the old unit. Gulp!
