Title: milltek fitted!
Post by: jtomlin on 21 July 2009, 18:41
right, as the title says, ive fitted my milltek, it sounds amazing! very very happy, and the mid range pick up is just awesome, ill get some pictures up, but what i was wondering is that if i let the revs die down it pops and kinda backfires, anyone know why? its a non resonated cat back by the way

nice one   agu engined 1.8t's tend to pop at tailpipe sometimes when lifting off the throttle will just be a small fraction of unburnt fuel which due to heat build up will cause the pop that you hear

popping will improve after a few miles.. but if you play with the pedal you can learn how to do it on demand, and frighten old ladies at zebra crossings.
