Title: Which Longlife service?
Post by: Emeye on 21 July 2009, 15:56
Hello,

My Feb 08 Gti is requesting a service in 500miles - how do I know which service it needs?

When I bought it at 7 months old and 4k miles the main stealer told me it they would service it. It is now on just over 14k miles.

My BMW used to tell me which service was required, either Oil change, Int service 1 or Int service 2. Should my Golf?

Cheers. :)

Called the dealer and they tell my car isn't on longlife service, but on yearly/10,000 mile service.

I believe this is better anyway.

Cheers. :)

Im sure mine is on T&D service, but the dealer has informed me that on the VW database its down as being on LL!

I think mine was changed to T&D at some point, but the VW database wasnt updated.

+1, although mine has been serviced every twelve months and (co-incidentally) after a 10k miles window..

Sounds like T&D to me!
