Title: RCD 510

Carn't remember where I read it on here. But somebody said a GTI came with the RCD510 and didn't come fitted with the upgraded sound pack? I ordered the RCD510 thinking it did. ill be pissed off if vw fk me over and dont include it. Says on website that its included with the RCD510? Anybody>

RCD 510 just is an upgrade on the RCD310 but it does not include upgraded speakers. It gives you more options and it is touch screen. You must specify RCD 510 + Dynaudio upgrade which is GBP 680 rather than GBP 338 for just the RCD510.

The GTI comes with the RCD310 as standard.  RCD510 costs and extra £350ish.  RCD with Dynaudio costs an extra £680ish.

phone up your dealer and get the dynaudio bit added on - i did the same thing but because my order seems to have disappeared into a black hole i had time to add this bit onto it!

As long as its not in production they will do this for you. I had ordered bluetooth only to find my phone wasn't compatible so managed to take it off 8 weeks later as it was still not in the factory.

Without wishing to sound like Kev, it does help if you thoroughly read the VW price list first if buying a new car.

Although I know it wont have the little badges on... you could take the £300 you saved down to your local audio place (not halfrauds) and probably get more for your money. Just a thought if you dont manage to change your order :smiley:
