hi, new 2 all this, my names wayne i live in southend essex, got golf gti 1.8t, shes standard at the mo, got sum gd plans tho, think i need 2 get it remaped as its only running 150bhp or turbo upgrade, bit 2 slow really but ok, beat my mates 182 clio... lol  :grin:

welcome, get a remap, miltek exhaust and a decent panel filter and you will be laughing.

Have a look in the mk4 owners bit, they suffer with heat soak, they reackon the way to go is smooth the air box, fit an R32 intake and a panel filter, i have a BMC carbon Fibre induction kit which shouldn't have heatsoak problems as the cone filter is in a carbon fibre box, which has very good heat resistance propertys
