Right, might be in the wrong section but I need help. My air con stinks... like cheesy feet.
What could be causing this and how can I sort it out??

Thanks in advance for any advice.

When was your air con last serviced, not just regassed ? The reason I ask is because when my mate services air con units in cars he fills the system from the pollen filter end with a spray that not only smells nice but also disinfects the whole heater/air con system of pipes and vents it also prevents the possible risk of legionella.

you need this in your life
it is run with the air con going so that it penetrates the whole system

Aldi are selling an aerosol thing for £1.99. I read the instructions briefly it seems you leave the aircon on for 10 minutes with this aerosol on, you cant be in the car when you're doing this. It cleans the whole system apparently.

the air con bomb that aldi sell is perfect for it but dont be in the car set off bomb (aerosol) and leave air con on for 10 minutes then replace pollen filter and spray with treatment or get a carbon pollen filter all of this is sold at eurocar parts aswell at a decent price even if i do say so myself haha recently done this too my mates mk4 and its lovely in there now no smells or anything :D:D
hope it helps¬
