Title: Volkswagen Race Meeting - Mallory Park 2nd August

Just to let you know there is a very VW orientated race meeting at Mallory Park on the 2nd August.

The Mk2 Golf GTI will, I am sure be a capacity grid of nicely presented 8v and 16v Golf GTI's....and the V.A.G Trophy is a varied array of just about any Volkswagen Audi Group racecar......the last round saw all sorts of cars such as Seat Leon, Corrado, Vento, Scirocco Mk2 Golf and Mk1 Golf.

have you got a website/link for this im intrested but trackdays.co.uk dont like any event for 2nd August, one for 1st of August is fully booked.

It's a race series, not a track-day, that's why  :wink:

Thats right...its a race meeting...but.

There should be some pretty impressive kit out there with the 320bhp Jabbasport Corrado Turbo, the Andrews Mk1 Leon Supercopa car, Len Simpsons Vento VR6, Mark Jenkins' 310bph Mk5 Golf, Carvell Motorsport Scirocco, Darryl Radford in the Grant Motorsport Vento....and there is an ex-BTCC Audi Supertouring car entered for the next round at Silverstone!!!!!

Things are hotting up, this series is a must for any true V.A.G. enthusiast....come along and say hello, we are a very friendy championship based around good paddock spirit and a passion for racing....

are you having a race at brands hatch in october? on the timetable i have it is yet to be confirmed

Yes there is a meeting on the 24th of October at Brands with both the GTI's and VAG's on the bill.

Def going to come to the Brands one. Ill round up the local troops for this and try and get us down, sounds great.

Yes, brands will be a big one, its the Fastest VAG racer event, we are looking to get all of the VAG tuners together in a once a year event to put to rest all of the BS (excuise the language)...all these tuners state bhp numbers and 1/4 mile times, but that means nothing if you are using the car an 'A' roads....come and prove your worth on the best 'A' road in the country...Brands Hatch, unless you are scared!
