after a year of hunting, but by accident i picked up a reasonable(need's work) 90 5 door mk2 GTI today.
not sure what i'm gonna do with it yet, just running smooth and straight will be good.

I've had 3 mkI's (2 drivers and a 1.1? that blew up)
1 mkII driver on it's last legs.
and got the GTI. :D although i dont know a great deal about dubs cuz they generally never went wrong ;)

I am a race mechanic by trade, but got out of that game and now fix computers.
this was an ace site about a year ago hope it's still the same.
