Title: Tyres for mk3 Anniversary.

I know correct size is 215/40/16 but would it cause any probs running 215/45/16?

I have 4 of the 45 profile nearly new :undecided:

45 is the correct profile... 40 is for a 17" rim

215/40/16 was the correct size for a anni, you could switch to 205/45/16's however with no issues.

215/45/16's would affect the speedo.

Minimal. 1-3% at most probably. You wouldn't notice

As above not a lot, 205's would give you more clearance if it is lowered.

Thats correct the Anni's ran 215/40/16's however 205 or 195/45/16's are or can be cheaper and easier to find, all are ok to use.

These are what i use on mine  :cool:

No probs finding sizes, Eagle F1s on front toyos on back
