Lightly sprinkle the affected area with vodka

meg's or ag de odouriser for a quick fix or carpet shampoo the effected area for a proper job

The only way is through a wet/dry vac and some bloody good interior shampoo. The best interior shampoo on the market in my opinion is the Meguiar's:

Combined with this:

I had a customer who spilt red wine all over the passenger footwell, this stuff brought it up looking and smelling like brand new again. The brush is a fantastic tool too.
I'm afraid no air freshener is good enough to get rid of the smell of beer.

waxamomo is right
you will need to get the area thoroughly clean using a wet/dry vac and then probably an air freshener treatment
for the amount you will spend on materials you might find it easier just to pay a professional valeter to do it for you
if you have a persistent problem with the smell you will need an dry vapour treatment such as aromatek

as said above, wet vac with warm water some fabrite or biobrisk solution with a dash of zoflora antibac, will kill any bacteria in the fabric.
