Title: GLI Cab 1.8 on a B plate.......Was there one made?

Is there a 1985 Gli 1.8 soft top?
I have asked this on another forum and the opinion seems to be that they where stopped in 1984 so it is possible that there could have been registered in 85. I just wondered if anyone can throw some lihjy or opinion on this..

From memory and checking parkers, the 1.8 GTI was made until 1993, they made the 1.8 Carb up to 1993 then added a cat for the last 6mths.
