just realised, my cars been broken into at some point, how i found out, was because i happened to pull the passenger door handle and noticed there was a hole there, right near the key area, The hole is hidden because of the door handle. I am ashuming a screwdriver or somethings been rammed in there. And the hole has some rush around it, I wonder if it was broken into when the car was owned to some lady down london... Anyway, pissed off now, how am i gunna fill up that hole, and stop it rusting anymore. I heard you can get some protector thingy's lol, that stop people using screwdrivers down the door handle area.... if this makes sense.
Note... the hole is not big, just about the size of a screwdriver's end,.... SOooooooooooo Mad. wish i knew this before i bought the car.
Sooooooooo mad.

Cant beleive i havent noticed this before, obviously i dont use that passenger front door, my girlfriend does, but as shes blonde lol
Sooooooooooooooo not happy.

you can buy armour door plates to hide/make stronger round the locks but there ugly, otherwise its fill and paint and you'll need to remove the handle but getting paint to match might be difficult!! (all my mk3's had metal plates fitted inside the door where they can be screw drivered as it's a known weak spot!!)

Any one got any pics of the armoured plates. just to have a loook.
I'm soooooooo annoyed. its pissed me off soooooo much.
Argh.

I havent got pic's of mine as I had them made up (basically 3mm steel plates cut into oblongs with a centre hole. and i had a friend make mine for a few ££ and they were bonded to the inside door skin)
or you can get these (that fit on the ouside)

now they do look really ugly.
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I was told i could put like this liquid metal to fill it, its like a bluetak/plastercine, and when it sets its like metal, so i could fill the hole and smooth it off, would that work?
cheers boney.
