hi there all im now looking for a caddy mk 1 well i was wondering if you guys know what points to look out for when searching much help would be apreciated!

He hasn't been on much lately hence the email suggestion. I met him at GTI Internaional 2003, he was well into a Caddy restoration project i.e:-
