right today was the the day i had to start my vento front end conversion. here is some pictures of how my vr6 looked just before i started.

right i think pictures are working fine now. so there it is it looks good in the pictures but it is covered in stone chips and and scratches. i decided to de arch the car so i decided to take the arches off. to my horror i wish i didnt.

was not happy the rear arches was ok to honest but i thought they would be the worst.

beyond repair so went and got a hold of 2 wings. from the breakers couple of marks on them but most important no rust. took the lights off and bonet. and fitted my in pro vento lights.

treated the rear arches and and filled them.

fitted vento bonnet. and both wings put on.

Reminds me of mine. Had no rust but had to change a wing. With paint this will look awesome!! Best to find rust sooner than later mate. Good work

took a while to get the lines right around the wings but finally got it. fitted the grill and put the bumper. back on. i think it looks the nuts something different and will look the nuts once it has been sprayed. the whole car will be sprayed. i have s--t loads still to do. got smoothed bumpers to put on cl door trims. rear spoiler etc etc ill keep this thread upto date with all progress and pictures also the problems along the way.

hopefully nothing like the arches lol

ill see gonna get my comps diamond cut see what how it looks once all done, ill see if the mirrors go but if they dont ill take them off not a hard job :wink:

to be honest i dont know. i wanna keep them on i need to get some end clips and a the strip that hold the bits in place, as someone nicked mine, oh the joys living in london. but may look into other skirts

also this is my current leather interior which is in excellent condition as you can see but there is a blue colour concept recaro interior going in tommorrow.

black leathers sold, but fitted my colour concept interior today needs a bit more time spent but over all looks ok.

ok took my side skirts off today to find that i have 2 big dents either side due to garages jacking the car up on the wrong points. so the skirts are saying on :sad:

not having much luck are you dude. Has it broken the paint? Wouldnt want it to rust in those spots.

i have been told by ther garage that i should treat the underneath of the car and get a the seal welded all back proper. no rust yet but i know it will come if left. :wink:
