is it the resistors you require? sorry if i'm confused.... - City Electrical Factors (CEF) or maplins will have those bits...

sorry mate ive tottaly confused myself AND you. ok you know on the clock when you take them out and remove the needles and all that then you have the display left where it shows you the miles mpg etc etc? then after you have un-soldered the displays of your left with the little smd leds? kells took them out and replaced them with 3mm blue leds, now this is what i want to know did he use a 12v resistor under ther or did he solder it just straight to the board without the resistor? thats what i need to know.

cheers mate

hahaha REspect to all the crew who helped out!  i was just thinking daym i dont know who to speak or read german hehe cheers boys! did the rear window switches had to solder a 470ohm resistor in was bit time consuming but all was good, only prob is that the LEDs are not superbright but look good just waiting for it to go dark then see how good they are got the LEDS and resistors from www.rs-components.com (http://www.rs-components.com) just thinking shall i get superbright? but il just have to wait and see. also wanted to know if its just my car or everyones. basicaly the back window switches will not light up even with the headlights on all other will but not the back but when i turn the ignition they all come on??? weird? anyway i will put up a guide on the step by step way to do the switches and the parts that you need.

Prize out the panels either side, the one on the right with the abs light and the one next to HU.
On the right side you have to unclip the headlight switch, this is just inside the aperture you have just created (abs light) its a tricky one, right hand and the clip just presses in on the left side of that hole.
This then exposes the screws.
Drop the steering wheel right down and pull out the perpex front cover (it clips in at the top) then 2 more screws at each side of the dials.

Simples!
