dont understand why there is mention of rusting?? mine is just a bit of plastic??
-
think i misread your first post, are you just after the cap bit that sits on the end of the side skirt strip?
-
Its the long bit that goes along the length of the cill about 2" tall?
-
£18+vat per side from VW

yeah they do rust an fall off as they have metal bits in to keep them clipped on
-
My dealers sells them for 22+vat, I had to replace mine as it was damaged and had a rust patch on it.
-
How can it have a rust patch on it if its plastic?
-
Under that plastic there is strip metal and when mine got damaged it revealed the metal and subsequently rusted.
-
O right I see

Plastic will only get brittle, what he means is that the plastic gets stained from the rust. so it looks as if the plastic is rusty. know what i mean? My passenger side is very slightly showing up some rust on the plastic, but its still solid. so its not an issure yet.
