hi guys,
? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ok forgive me if this a stupid question but, new owner no handbook etc etc...
how is it supposed to work as mine is playing up..
push forward (towards windscreen)
pull backwards
switch thing on front (that says 1, 2)
push up
pull down
the button on the end appears to work the trip computer,
though I cannot seem to set the clock, pushing in the two buttons in the dial housing with a pin does nothing..?

push it forward activates rear wiper. hold it on squirts on the rear screen
pull it toward you squirts the windscreen and wipes about 5 times
down is intermitant wipers
up and up twice is slow and fast wiping
the push button cycles through the MFA. the 1 and 2 switch change between current run (resets after engine is turned off for 2 hours) and total. to reset the MFA manually hold the button to the 1 or 2 position.
the buttons to set the clock could be dislodged inside the clocks. that's the only thing I can think of. another way to set it would be to remove (and replace) fuse 3 at 12 o'clock ;D

you need more than a pin to set the time. i found a bookies pen was spot on - you need to press n hold and eventually it will change!!
also, for the rear wipe
you push it to start, the wiper will wipe
but when you push it to turn it off, again the wiper will wipe, which will probably confuse you!!

If i want to wipe the rear window, and not have the wipers on all the time, i jus press the switch towards the windscreen twice in quick succesion.

I use a Pilot hi-techpoint pen to set my time as there's always one in the special holder in my glovebox ;D

thanks a lot guys, replacing the fuse at 12 o'clock, sweet mate I like that idea ;D

mine always bugga's up. im forever taking the fuse out.. Thats because i have a p!ss poor battery or alternator (dont know which one) but when the battery dies the mfa goes crazy (youd think a dead battery would result in the mfa going off - mine would surprise ya)
