My mate just sold his VR6, told him he should have got more for it. He offered it me for £500 originally, but I prefer my mk2.
I just think that £600 is far too cheap considering the condition.

If it was that good he should've put 12 months' ticket on it... :lipsrsealed:

Lucky to get that much with no mot.

If you ask me a car with no mot or tax, stood for a year, abs fault, and with rust, he got a good price.

Suppose when you put it like that, but I had a drive in it and it was sound as a pound.

It might drive ok but it could need a shed load of work, buying a car like that is a gamble to be honest.

like everyone has said i wouldnt touch a car without an mot on it, the seller will always say there is only a couple of little things that need to be sorted.....

I payed 900quid for my 8v gti on a p reg last september, with full mot, new tyres, 6 month tax and full service history with only 57,000 miles on it, cambelt been done and drives and looks mint, just its standard and yeah i know its not a fast car really, I got it cos its a nice car, I thought it was a good deal considering the condition it is in, just very slowly doing some mods
would like a v6 like  i mean a vr6
but wouldnt have payed 650quid for that one to be honest.
