Title: Recommened speaker upgrade for MK4 2000

Thinking of upgrading my speakers in my new golf, had it since Thursday, the quality is ok but i want some more clarity. Loving the car though, massive improvement over my fez 1.25l lol....


Yeah so, how many speakers are there in total? Will I need new tweeters? And should I get a sub?

are you going to fit an amp for the speakers?

Budget is maybe 150-200 quid

And I'm not sure about the amp. What are benefits of having an amp?

if you can streetch your budjet go for a set of speakers called cdt awsome speakers clear and loud with an amp great without been fitting them for the past 5 years and ive not come across any that better them.
