Is it okay to change the wheels from back to front and visa versa? If so, do I have to swap left front to left rear etc or left front to right rear. I remember on my old MINI (or rather new MINI) I had to cross swap.

all depends on your tyres, some are Rotational
-
Mine all go the same way
-
Is rotational a word they are surely all rotational apart from the spare

So if they're not rotational then I'll be okay swapping the wheels around any which way I choose?

ok as i couldnt think of the word i went to look at mine.
Directional. ie have an arrow on to show direction of rotation.
therefore you cant swap from one side of the car to the other, just front to back from the same side otherwise the tyre will be rotating the wrong way for the tread pattern.
Clear, ? good, how about a donation to the forum charitee,

I think he means directional usually an arrow pointing the way the wheel rotates but apart from that as long as they are all radials and the same size then they can go anyway you want. As a general rule front tyres wear quickest especially on a front wheel drive

i think you will find i posted that

lolz @ the newbie trying to be smart
Rotational/directional, all the friggin same, I knew what Chuff meant the first time around

Always have the better tyres on the rear.
Don't change the left tyres for the ones on the right, you will be sorry in the wet.
