Title: lost my only set of car keys and alarm fob, help?
Post by: wil0 on 13 July 2009, 11:42
Went to a party on friday, and lost my keys in a massive field, anyway...
can i get a new key cut from the numbers on the barrels? the ignition key isnt original, but the door keys are... also i have a clifford G4 alarm, can i get a new keyfob programmed? or will i have to bin it completely, and find a new G4 box and fobs? if someone could PM me some details on how to over ride the alarm, and ignition barrel, that would be very helpful.

You should have a certificate and booklet with your alarm. This should have a unique code on it. Ring up clifford with the code and they will send you out a replacement. Probably at a large cost though.

Go into a VW dealer and they will probably be able to sort you out with keys. Can def do the doors but as you have changed the ignition barrel you might have to buy a new barrel and key.

Good luck
