Title: rocker covers - talk to me

any idea of replacements and costs pls?

looks like a vw one is 60 odd plus VAT

any idea of other options... or if anyone knows of suppliers that paint them etc?

whats wrong with the one you got Guy? does it just need a lick of paint to tidy it up?

prolly... but i'm wicked and i'm lazy!

someone suggested someone who could dip, blast and powdercoat things very well on a 24hr turnaround

If buying a s/h one make sure the breather gauze is not blocked solid.

yeah i saw that... but it was for 1.3 engines

i think i am gonna get it blasted and then powdercoated and see how that goes  :smiley:

As I said in my earlier post, check the condition of the breather gauze.

I just rubbed mine down with a metal brush, a little bit of wet & dry and then a couple of coats of Hammerite.

Did the job a treat.
