You lot should definately be able to help me out here seeing as alot of you have done your shockers. Where can I get the three nuts that go on the top of the rears? I suspect there are different types for different makes. Mine are standard boges. Cheers.

good idea, but there must be somewhere i can get them new for cheap seeing as it is a common replacement part.??

I would contact your local vw garage tbh.

i went to vw but they could not confirm what thread size there nuts are, and they dont have any on the shelf. I require super fine thread pitch, the ones on my old shocks are a coarse thread.

go to a nut and bolt place with a shocker and buy some (nylon) lock nuts....I've used them loads of times in the past

Should be supplied with the shocks, if not try a nut / bolt suppliers

The shocks came with one nut each, but each shock requires three. Took them to a nut and bolt place and the finest thread pitch they did was 1.2 the threads on these are 1.0,. However i finally found some from a place called allfix. Thank god for them. I drove miles and miles and must have been to over 15 places till I found allfix. Should have gone there first
