£54.98 total

Has anyone bought these from either seller before? any recommendations/rejections? both seem pretty expensive tbh
Regards

Try looking for a second hand one they soon get scuffed anyway.
-
Try veedubmachine.com or GSF where I got mine. GSF charged me between £40 and £45
-
sh!t in a bucket man! Don't buy either.
Many people on here inc myself have bought from Lesbray and he is a trusted seller, although i do think thats a ridiculous price. I wouldn't by feck from Poland either.
I bought a brand new splitter through e bay a couple of yrs ago and paid £20. If their going for £50 now then what a rip off. As said look elsewhere or go 2nd hand.
-
thanks for the advice chaps. I will keep an eye out for decent genuine second hand ones on ebay and the forum. I think the current ones I have on my car aren't genuine as they dont fit well!
-
Jeez! I should have sold the lower spoiler on the crap BB set I bought for £30, I would have been £20 up !

lol... its amazing how much some stuff are sold for on ebay. If you still have it lying around, I'll have it
-
The big bumpers inc the spolier went in the skip. Worst £30 I spent on that car, especially for items listed as MINT
-
ah that sucks, I hate it when they list things as mint when clearly they aren't! Might just go down the scrappies and nab a lower spoiler.
-
Just buy one from gsf, they arnt any more expensive then the ones on ebay and atleast you know itll be new and in good nick.

I think GSF have stopped selling them now, they're not on the website anymore. I'll call them tomorrow though to check.
-
Try phonin euro carparts aswell
-
I bought mine from GSF and they fit just fine.

ah brilliant! I'll give them a call tomorrow to see if they have any in stock. Do you remember roughly how much they cost you?
-
They were £45.42 incl vat.
They had one side in stock (Farnham, surrey) but had to get the other in which took just one day...

Yeah, at least you know its quality then. Think it was actually £72 if memory serves me.

ah saved myself £8 already heh
-
Yeah, lol. £72.. you can buy a bag of crisp's for that much anyway...
What I will say however, is be prepared for a bloody annoying hour getting the bugger to fit. Tight is not the word.

Look for a decent second hand one.
Although I don't know what kind of quality GSF etc are, most of the reproductions of VW splitters that you get on eBay are made from really brittle, bad quality plastic, and just shatter at the slightest impact.
I'm wearing a second hand genuine splitter on my GTi, and it stands up to an insane amount of scuffing, clipping and banging.
