Got myself a mk2 golf 8v 90.
Want to no what parts are worth upgrading when fitting a WON Nos kit.
Thinking of havving a 150i kit fitted but want to know is it worth getting a 16v to save money and time on a later date.
Its etheir Nos or a turbo conversion never owned a N/A car.

Get over yourself and try driving the bloody thing.
If you were looking for something with a huge surplus of power you bought the wrong car.

Fancied a sleeper. Just looking into a few sites and their saying diesels are stronger. im not looking for 400-500bhp not intrested in that want a daily driver with a special kick if needed and dont really want another turbo.

Turbo Diesel FTW.

Crack open ebay for a Diesel then :-D lol

everyone is always so negative when it comes to nos. 150bhp jets will need serious internal uprating. stick with 50bhp jets and so long as your not using it every time you drive the car you will be fine.
when my engine is built up to the spec i want it will be having 75bhp shot, but thats after iv uprated all the internals.

it will only be used as a daily driver and wont be used much on the motor way and thekit im lookign into can be turned on and off when needed. just want somthign diffrent and have had nos in another veichle

What happened to the other vehicle?

150 bhp jets + 115 bhp = 265 bhp ummmm
265 bhp from a PB motor = lots of problems. the clutch won't even hold it so the motor will just run of and go boom, thats provideing lots of other sh!t dosent go wrong first. chances are it'll pop the headgasket very quickly, lob a rod or just detonate itself to bits

Does this kit come with any form of timing retard? As above, 150BHP over and above standard on a standard engine/drivetrain is a bit too much of an ask and if the NOS seller is any good they will most likely not even sell you the kit your asking about here because of this.
