Title: headlights low beam/highbeam wont come on together
Post by: vee-dub90 on 09 July 2009, 01:48
On my 1.4 i have changed my headlights from the standard  ones which have the H4 bulbs in them to the gti spec headlights with seperatre high/low beam bulbs being H1's and when i put on the high beam the low beam lights go off, and on my brothers car the lights came off (as he has angel eyes now) the high and low beam will stay on together. so i am wondering what can i do to keep them both on together?

I would think the wiring or switch would be different maybe.

Yeah there's meant to be some metal thing that you plug into the fusebox but I can't remember what it is and where it goes!!

No I think they call it a jumper or something, I've seen it over on the Vortex forum when looking through the DIY section for ideas lol
