Title: front light tinting advice?

alrite chaps im fairly new to this forum so bare with me!
basically what im after is advice on taking apart the front indicators and reflectors to tint the inside!
the fog lights came apart fairly easily and i sprayed the casing around the light and they came up trumps
but im struggling with the rest!
any help would be appreciated !

Buy some smoked indicators off ebay, got mine for 13 quid brand new.. don't be a cheapskate lol

lol gotta be a cheapscate got a 7 month old baby and a demanding girlfriend!  :lipsrsealed:
if they dont come apart easy i might have to bite the bullet!
does putting them in the oven for a few minutes work with them or not?

If you wanna do the front indicators/fog blanking plates then you're better off giving them a few light coats of gloss black OR the proper tinting spray.. but a can of tinting spray will cost you about 12 quid so it'd be easier just to buy the smoked indicators lol

They don't come apart....

mite try tinting the outside first then if all else fails il buy some!

I tinted my mates ones with some plastic primer and a couple of coats of gloss black :wink:

cheers bud il give it a try tomorrow i just didnt want them to look too dark compared to the fog lights iv already done

No problem dude..

I don't think you can get lightly tinted ones, mine are really dark and they're not self tinted, they're genuine items lol

nice one by iv seen somewhere somebody tinted the casing around the headlight on the inside is that fairly easy?

Preheat your oven to 200 degrees, pop the 4 metal clips off around the lense, take the bulbs out, whack the light in the oven for 45 seconds - 1 minute, take it out the oven, gently prise off the lense with a flat headed screwdriver making sure you don't crack the glass, then paint the unused parts of the reflector black, wait for it to dry and then put the lense back on, followed by the clips and bulbs..

Did it on my old car and it looked spot on..

I didn't wanna crack the lense cus I can't afford a new light lol
