I have just put HIDs in my hellas and they look amazing.
No other light except the Hellas can take the HIDs as the projector lens.
You can mod the MK4 light to fit the MK3. Could be worh a try.

HELLA TWINS ADAM!!! HELLA TWINS!!! Not Hella Quads. LOL!
Angel eyes generally have projectors on the outside lens too but most angel eye headlights look chavvy.

Alrite stressy!
P.S

You can have it back so long as my battery is charged like I charged your one lol!
There are no best headlamps too be perfectly honest. Reason I say this is, I myself, GTiadam for example love the Hella Twins, others will prefer the angel eyes, plenty of other people would prefer to have standard lamps, or a modded standard lamp smoked or similar.
As mentioned, if you want to run HIDs you need projectors or you're going to blind everyone, and make yourself much more apparent to the police who will inevitably pull you and fine you. HIDs are illegal in any car that doesn't have washers, self adjusters and projectors.
Even running them in Hella Twins is still illegal, and will 99% fail your MOT (some will get away with it depending on test centre).

Smoked standards ftw

Thanks Guys, i might just keep with the Hellas TBH. It seems like a waste of time changing them. Adam where did you get the HID kit from for yours?

Hella Twins!
Thank you Len :)

Hella twins do look good but the light output is crap against the standard lights I only had mine for a couple of weeks before I switched back.

Everyone has always had their own opinions on this, I myself find the output just fine, mind you they are a "Hella" (see what I did there? LOL) lot better with HIDs, mine against Adam's is such a difference.
Really just go for what you want, whichever looks best, any MK3 I have now and in the future will have these headlights ALL the time. :)

Shall do some comparisons tonight
