Title: idle out of control

hi i have a mk3 16v gti and when ever i pull up anyway and go into neutral the idle will start boucing up to 2k and dropping right down, and sometimes stalling, anyone have any idea what may be casuing this?

Sounds like you got a problem with your air intake, check you havent got any splits in your pipe and that it is secured on properly. hope this helps   :cool:
